Today, I'm Grateful For...

i love taking some time to think about the things i'm grateful for, and think that it's an awesome way to start the week!

here's what i'm particularly grateful about today:

fresh-made juice for lunch
my coworkers…i love working at this church!
a few days spent in boston last week with aj & that his summer break is less than 2 weeks away
sunshine and springtime (even if it's going to rain all week)
creativity in all of its forms
this new-found addiction to running
tomorrow is my last ministry class
finally finding a spring jacket after a two-month long search (it's the little things, friends)

emily runs a little grateful heart link-up every monday, and it's open all week…i encourage you to go check it out, read some of the other posts, and consider participating!

and just as an added bonus for grateful heart monday….i'm offering all readers a whopping 70% off of any ad space/package from now-may 1 with the code "springhassprung".

what are you grateful for today?

  1. That juice looks so good! Do you have a special juicer? We have a Breville but I broke a part on it last month :( So until we get the replacement piece, I will just envy your juice ;) It makes me so happy to hear others talk about how much they love their job! What a blessing!

  2. I'm so jealous of your list because I want to be addicted to running.. lol I really do. I just can't motivate myself to get out there... I totally respect anyone and everyone who runs! Hope you've been well! Also wish I had some freshly-squeezed juice today. That sounds perfect!

  3. Great things to be grateful for! It's funny, I've seen many bloggers comment on loving their job while working for a church. I've started including local congregations in my job search... places of worship seem like great places to spend your 9-to-5 :)

  4. If you are passionate about the mission of the organization you work for, whether it be a church or something else, then it's not hard to love your job! It does often mean putting in more hours than you get paid, dealing with people who just don't understand what you do, and extending grace even when you don't feel like it sometimes, but all-in-all, it's awesome knowing that what I do really means something! hope you find a great fit for you!

  8. It's such a good idea to take the time to write a list like that every once in a while. If you start your day/week out like that it can really make a huge difference in your perspective.
