Fall Favorites

so i'm teaming up with joelle over at joelle charming to talk about some of my #fallfavorites, and to offer you all a chance to score $75 to jesus's coffee shop starbucks!

last fall, i created a little "fall to-do list", and it just feels right to bring that back again....because i still love and am looking forward to everything on it!

so yeah...that pretty much sums up everything i could want out of fall....and this is one to-do list that i absolutely need to accomplish!

and here are a few other thoughts about this glorious season:
i love waking up under a pile of blankets and still being chilly in the morning
it is wonderful to go running and not being super hot
my black-leather interior car isn't roasting when i get in it!
jeans...i love jeans, but hate being hot in them...fall is perfect for combatting this!
apple cider donuts (if only i still lived in new england)
fall makes me take better care of myself for some reason
boots.  and flats.  i love sandals, but i'm ready to put them away
being cozy in general.
dressing for fall...its my season, you guys.  i love it.

  2. Jesus' coffee shop! Hahaha that made me laugh. My favorite drink is pumpkin but I'm not a huge fan of Starbuck's version. Dunkin donuts makes a really good one and there is a local coffee shop in Sarasota that makes an AMAZING version. Probably my favorite!

  3. I'm not a big fan of the PSL because I don't actually like coffee. I would probably love it otherwise. I'm more of a tea drinker.

  5. Barista tip: Pumpkin Spice is amazing in the Chai tea latte! :)

  6. I've never actually roasted pumpkin seeds before...I'll have to try that this year when I'm carving pumpkins!!

  7. i normally only get a grande raspberry mocha latte at starbucks, but in the fall i always have to have the pumpkin spice latte

  8. I'm not a fan of the PSL either...I feel like all I can taste is the nutmeg, and I don't love it! I'd much rather have a Cinnamon Dolce latte!

  9. Me too! Except for me, it's almond milk....SO tasty!!

  10. I'm not a huge fan either, but only because I feel like all I taste is nutmeg!

  11. Girl! They're SO good! And so easy! Just rinse them and pat them down with a paper towel, and then toss them with some olive oil and salt, and roast! I think I usually roast them either at 350 or 425...but just google it and you'll find tons of directions :)

  20. Falllllll!!! yes!!!! seriously couldn't be more in agreeance (is that even a word) with this post! everything about it makes my heart so so happy and so so glad that it's finally here! I totally used to be obsessed with some psl butttttttttt I recently discovered a tea latte that I cannot stop drinking! I brew some caramel brulee tea, whip up some sweet cream creamer with my $2.99 frother from Ikea, and pour that on top. I even add a little honey drizzle for fun :-) I highly recommend turning any of your favorite teas into a homemade latte - just make sure you use "bliss" creamers to avoid all of the chemical junk! HAPPY FALL!!

  24. I can't wait for it to cool down enough for me to break out my fall clothing! Maybe in another month ;) unfortunately it's the only thing that I can enjoy from your list! No FALL things out here in OKI - but I'm going to the states for a few weeks in Oct. Maybe I'll add these to my vacation to-do list - everything sounds so wonderful!
